THE PSYCHOLOGY OF BANANA BREAD

BANANA BREAD.
It was the most googled recipe since March 1st.
Surprised? Shouldn’t be.

We sat at home watching those beautiful yellow bananas turn black and mushy. So, we utilized the stay home opportunity to make something less desirable into something better.

SOME DID EVEN MORE.
Exploding closets now organized. Weeds pulled to make room for flowers. With a forced slowdown, maybe you acted on a prompting to serve others. Made a mask, or two, or 100. Family dinners once on the run, now consist of faces together at the same table.

DON’T BEAT YOURSELF UP.
Most of us feel UNHINGED from comfortable routines, UNPREPARED to homeschool our kids, and somehow LONELY within our own home. But look beyond the chaotic surface. Past the unfairness. Somewhere in all that craaaazy is there a glimmer of something better?

WHAT ARE WE TO LEARN?
Has your focus shifted? Are priorities clear? Are you experiencing what it feels like to replace fear with faith?
These are strong principles we’ve studied in scripture and suddenly we’re living and feeling them. It’s active learning we’ll not soon forget.

Oh - THAT BANANA BREAD?
Yep it was delicious.
But, I’m certain that’s just the beginning . .
